Hello, and welcome (or welcome back)!
I hope everyone is doing well and feeling safe, healthy, and happy :).
On this week’s blog, we are going to talk hotels at Disney World. My grandparent’s have lived in Florida (about 1 hour away from Disney) for 30 years. My family never had to stay onsite because we always had a free room waiting for us. Now that they have moved up north to be closer to us, we now have the opportunity to stay on Disney property when we visit. I stayed at a Disney hotel in 2019 during my solo trip, but I was looking for a cheap and available option at the time. Disney has some really incredible hotels, and just going through their website, I have found a few that really piqued my interest:
Disney Springs Area
- Port Orleans Resort Riverside: Princess and the Frog is one of my favorite Disney movies, and I have always wanted to visit New Orleans. This is a perfect fit for me! Plus, its located in the Disney Springs Area, which has an abundance of different attractions and eateries. This is a Moderate Resort Hotel.
Animal Kingdom Area
- Coronado Springs Resort: This hotel sits beautifully overlooking a lake, and it has amenities that will make you never want to leave. Gorgeous swimming pools, chic restaurants, and an elegant Spanish feel. This is another Moderate Resort Hotel.
Epcot Area
- BoardWalk Villas: It’s the perfect seaside vacation paired with the best of Disney all rolled into one great hotel! This is a top-tier hotel at Disney, and it features an active boardwalk, carnival games, and feels of Atlantic City. This is a Deluxe Villa Hotel.
Magic Kingdom Area
- Bay Lake Tower: You are sure to get treated like a queen at this resort! Within walking distance to Magic Kingdom, blazing fireworks from your window, and all the amenities that come with staying at its sister hotel, Contemporary Resort. You will definitely spend a pretty penny at this hotel, but the reviews say it is definitely worth it. This is a Deluxe Villa Hotel.
Thank you for reading! Let me know which hotel you have stayed at and where you would like to stay.
Until next time….
Stay safe and stay magical!
Ashley, MCT
