I hope everyone is doing well and feeling safe, healthy, and happy :).
On this week’s blog, we are going to talk about my favorite places to shop for Disney merch. Now, I’m going to take a wild guess and say that if you follow my blog, you are no stranger to all things Disney. If that is the case, then you know that buying your gifts and souvenirs outside of the park is the way to go! Don’t get me wrong, I love picking up and item here or there at the park. But for the most part, I shop for my gifts before and after my magical vacation.
Let me breakdown my favorite places to go for a bit of Disney shopping:
1. Primark: Primark is a cool store that has a little bit of everything. They sell men’s and women’s clothing, baby clothes, and home goods. And as an added bonus, they have a great selection of Disney merchandise. I have gotten Mickey Mouse backpacks, character shirts, pajamas, and blankets from Primark at a reasonable price. I like to head to Primark right before my vacation to Florida to stock up on anything I might need.
2. Box Lunch: Box Lunch is an eclectic store that sells Disney apparel and knick knacks. You can find the most interesting things at Box Lunch. I absolutely adore the figurines that they sell–they are so cute and original!
3. Walmart/Target: I put these two stores together because in terms of Disney items, what they offer is pretty similar, in my opinion. If you are looking to bring a Disney lunch box or suitcase with you, I would check out this store. Also, if you have kids and you want to buy a couple of cheap outfits for your trip, I would check out Walmart or Target. You can find some really good deals!
4. Etsy: Who doesn’t love supporting small businesses?! There are a lot of great Disney Etsy Sellers who are dying to show off their original creations. I love typing in “Disney” or “Epcot” or “The Lion King” in the Etsy search bar to find unique gifts for myself and loved ones.
5. Disney Store Outlet: This may seem counterintuitive, but shopping at the Disney Store Outlet for souvenirs before you go on your trip is a great plan. Except for “Park Exclusive” items, you can find almost everything you would normally buy at the parks in the outlet store, usually for a much cheaper price.
So those are my tips for shopping for all things Disney! These tips have helped me tremendously, and I hope they help you too 🙂
