Hello, and welcome (or welcome back)!
I hope everyone is doing well and feeling safe, healthy, and happy :). Please excuse my absence these past few weeks. My chronic illness had a serious flare up that I needed to address. I appreciate everyone’s support and understanding!
This week, I want to bring back the fun, and talk about my top 5 favorite places to visit when I got to Orlando! I live in New Jersey, and I don’t make it down to Florida nearly as often as I would like, so when I do get to go, I like (to try) to squeeze all of my favorites in.
So, in no particular order…
- Lafayette’s Music Room: This is a great place to hangout with friends, listen to great music, and eat some delicious food. I went to Lafayette’s for the first time in 2018, and I have been dying to go back ever since. They are unfortunately closed right now due to the pandemic, but when they re-open, I definitely recommend checking them out: https://lafayettes.com/orlando/
- Universal Studios Orlando: If you want break up your Disney trip with another source of entertainment, I highly recommend Universal Studios! It provides an entirely different means of fun, and in such a way that feels completely new every time you visit: https://www.universalorlando.com/web/en/us
- The Orlando Eye: Are you a fan of beautiful views of Orlando and high distances? Then I think the Orlando Eye is the right attraction for you! It is great for groups or an intimate date night with you and your loved one. Check out all the exciting happenings at ICON Park: https://www.iconparkorlando.com/attractions/the-wheel/
- Orlando International Airport: I know that you have to go to Orlando International Airport regardless of its entertainment level, but to me, this airport has enough to offer to qualify as its own attraction! Between the monorail, copious amounts of restaurants and shops, and its overall welcoming atmosphere, this airport is a great kickoff or ending to your trip: https://orlandoairports.net/
- Walt Disney World: Now you know I had to sneak this onto the list 🙂
Those are my top 5 favorite places to visit in Orlando! Be sure to let me know what your top 5 is in the comments.
Until next time….
Stay safe and stay magical!
Ashley, MCT
