I hope everyone is doing well and feeling safe, healthy, and happy :).
On this week’s blog, I want to talk about my favorite Minnie Mouse ears! Two of these ears were custom made for me by a dear friend, and I ordered the other pair from Etsy.
Let’s jump in!
- The first pair of ears I want to show off are called “Festival of the Arts.” My friend made these ears for me right before my most recent trip to Disney World. We went back in January of 2020 at the end of the month for the Festival of the Arts celebration at Epcot. We had an absolute blast checking out all of the cool art and food that the festival offered.
Why I love these ears: They are colorful and sleek, and it makes me feel like a walking piece of art!
2. The second pair of ears I want to show off are called “FBTH Magic.” My friend made these ears for me also, and gifted them to me for Christmas last year! These ears are gold and purple (my favorite colors) and they are so comfortable.
Why I love these ears: You’ll notice that in the middle of the ears is the acronym FBTH. FBTH stands for From Brush to Heart, my nonprofit. From Brush to Heart donates arts and crafts to hospitals, shelters and more. These ears represent one of the most important and meaningful things in my life, and I feel honored to wear them.
3. The last pair of ears I want to show off are my “Golden Girls/Disney Special!” I ordered these ears from the Etsy shop, LKDesignsStore: https://etsy.me/2QIV6Gc. They are fun and whimsical and they bring together two of my favorite things: the Golden Girls and Disney.
Why I love these ears: During the worst parts of the pandemic, I binged watched the Golden Girls, and it got me through it. When I saw these ears on Etsy, it felt like a sign that everything was going to be okay and things would eventually go back to normal. Whatever that looks like now 🙂
